What's In Your Calm A Pet Candle?

You might ask yourself, why would I care what’s in a candle? But because you light this product, it can not only radiate a room, but it can emit fragrances and other substances as well. One substance that’s in many candles is, Phthalates or phthalate esters. They are mainly used as plasticizers, i.e., substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility, transparency, durability, and longevity. Calm a Pet candle has NO PHTHALATES!

Lighting candles seems like such a good way to relax & unwind, which it is, but it’s important to make sure your candles have no indoor air pollutants.  Many candles are paraffin-based, which emit toxic chemicals like toluene and benzene. If inhaled in excess this can aggravate asthma, cause allergy-like symptoms, or irritate the respiratory tract. Calm A Pet Candles are vegetable-based soy candles.
